![]() ![]() ![]() Certainly buy your tickets on the net, if you are going on a weekend the queues are often long at entry. After our recent visit it would be our last choice in comparision to the above, especially if you have children under 12. Movieworld doesn't have the variety of rides and attractions compared to the other themeparks in the vicinity e.g. Overall a disappointing visit to a much talked about theme park. We've actually visited all the shows we wanted to by around 2, but we decided to wait for the parade which started at around 2:30. To me, the whole place lacked atmosphere and I dare say there were as many shops as there were shows. The Shrek 4D show was average, but not too excellent and the Shrek on-stage show was, to be blunt, boring for us. Though there were Shrek and friends, catwoman, batman etc, we were not impressed and the scale of the parade was small compared to Disneyland, which I dare say is 5 times bigger. ![]() However, the parade was short and somehow failed to create atmosphere for the whole park. I would definitely recommend the show to anyone. And the explosions were so big that the audience could feel the heatwave from the stage. The actors were able to perform stunts that we normally see on screen live. It was funny and explosive, and I liked it even though I have never actually seen the movie before. The Police Academy Show was a rare gem in the park. Though we didn't go on the batman ride, it was quite popular with the longest lines. The rides were, well, like any other rides in any other theme park despite the movie theme. We had great expectations for Movie World, but turned out they were short-lived. ![]()
